Job description
Chief duties will be potting plants, preparing space for the plants, mixing and hauling potting soil, sticking cuttings, weeding. Other duties may include harvesting groundcovers, grading plants, pulling orders, other propagation-related duties, maintaining display garden.

24 hours per week: three eight-hour days per week, though some flexibility is available.

Requirements:
An interest in and basic knowledge of native plants.
General horticultural knowledge, including potting techniques.
Ability to work well with others or alone.
Must be able to do quality production work quickly.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., walk on rough ground, stand for long periods.

Tadpole Haven Native Plants is a small nursery located northeast of Woodinville in a beautiful natural setting. Tadpole Haven carries over 90 species of native trees, shrubs, groundcovers, ferns and perennials. Many of these plants are purchased as liners or bare-root, potted up and sold. A growing percentage of our stock is propagated on-site.
