Outdoor Grants Compliance Specialist - $4792-$6290/mo

The Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) is looking for an Outdoor Grants Compliance Specialist.

The Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) is a small state agency that supports five boards in work that creates and maintains opportunities for recreation, protects the best of the state's wild lands, and contributes to the state's efforts to recover salmon from the brink of extinction.

Primary responsibility: This position will be responsible for a specialized and complicated caseload of completed projects that are out of compliance with the terms of the project agreements issued for various grant programs. This position will develop and implement conversion policies and procedural manuals and guidelines for the use of RCO staff and project sponsors. It will educate project sponsors about compliance issues. This position will also implement a compliance self-assessment program for project sponsors. This position will also serve as the land acquisition and real estate expert for the RCO.

Salary: $4792.00 - $6290.00 per month (DOQ)
Location: Olympia, Washington (Natural Resource Building)
