Gardener position this spring

Finding a Job with the Federal Government, Army Corps of Engineers
Seattle District, Lake Washington Ship Canal, Carl S. English Jr. Botanical Garden

The Carl S. English Jr. botanical garden will be posting a Gardener position this spring at approximately mid April to early May. Start date on or near first of June (negotiable). It is a permanent full time 40 hours a week, year round with benefits position.

There are basically four steps to applying and finding job postings for a federal job. You will find more information listed below.
1. Get your resume ready and online, on the Resumix web site first. This is the only resume web site that the Army uses.
2. Watch for job posting on USA Jobs – the job description will be listed with the posting.
3. Nominate yourself for the job. This is done on USA Jobs web site.
4. Check your account on Resumix to make sure you really did nominate yourself and that your resume was linked to the nomination.

Search for Jobs with Federal Government at USA Jobs. You can search for jobs by title, or state. You will find a complete job posting at this site – when it is posted. Closing dates are usually within 2 weeks of the job being posted. There is a link to the Resumix system under the ‘forms’ menu.
