Seasonal Gardener - $16.27/hr

The appearance and maintenance of the Seattle Public Schools landscaping is very important to the schools and public. We are seeking an individual with a strong interest in horticulture, who is a service-minded professional with a cheerful, customer-service attitude, willing to roll up their sleeves and go to work!

Responsibilities include planting, trimming, mowing, fertilizing, pruning, mulching, turf sweeping, and general cleaning of restrooms and grounds. You must be able to operate power equipment such as mowers, tractors, weed-eaters, and motor vehicles. You must have good organizational abilities, follow-up skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with school personnel and community groups in a friendly and professional manner. Pesticide license desired, but not mandatory.
