McCormick Woods Golf Course is now accepting applications/resumes for seasonal full time employees. These positions will start on 3 March 2009.
McCormick Woods Golf course is a public golf course that is open 7 days a week. Work hours for all position will be 35 hours a week.
3 Equipment Operators/General Labor Greens keepers. Weekday Schedule. 35 hours a week. Duties include mowing greens, mowing tee boxes, mowing fairways, raking bunkers, weed whacking, hand watering, general landscaping around clubhouse. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and sit for long periods of time on riding mower. These jobs are detailed oriented. Must have a current driver’s license. These positions are Monday thru Friday 5:30 am – 2:00 pm.
2 Equipment Operators/General Labor Greens keeper. Weekend Schedule.30 - 35 hours a week. Duties include mowing greens, mowing tee boxes, mowing fairways, raking bunkers, weed whacking, hand watering, general landscaping around clubhouse. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and sit for long periods of time on riding mower. These jobs are detailed oriented Must have a current drivers license. The schedules for these positions are Saturday and/or Sunday 4:30 – 9:00 to include Tuesday thru Friday or Monday thru Thursday 5:30 am – 2:00 pm.
All jobs include golfing privileges 7 days a week depending on available tee times.
All jobs are seasonal from 3 March thru 16 October.
Must apply in person with the Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent at the maintenance facility located across the street from the parking lot to the golf/clubhouse. Monday thru Friday 5:30-2:00.
