Mountain View Funeral Home & Memorial Park, the largest combination funeral home/cemetery in one location in the Pacific Northwest, located in Lakewood, Washington, has a great opportunity for a talented horticulturist.
This is an opportunity for someone with a passion and aptitude for horticulture to showcase their skills. Mountain View is 4th generation family owned and has a staff of over 70 employees and over 95 developed acres of park.
Qualifications:
• Knowledgeable of landscape design, planting, pruning, pesticides, and other horticulture information. • Certified as a Landscape Technician a plus. • Knowledge/experience with commercial irrigation a plus.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Oversee the total landscape design, plantings and maintenance of cemetery grounds. • Hands-on in mowing grass, pruning shrubs, trimming trees and planting flowers and shrubs in the cemetery. • May also be required to do other cemetery related jobs as needed. • Will supervise other staff as needed for projects.
