Now accepting applications for seasonal field work for the upcoming King County Parks season, which begins in March 2009.
Duties include maintaining grounds, facilities, athletic fields, and trails; may also involve fish and wildlife habitat restoration, maintaining native plantings, and noxious weed control. We require good communication skills, the ability to follow instructions, the ability to work outdoors on uneven terrain, and punctual and regular attendance. Experience with landscaping, gardening, athletic field maintenance, or other park experience highly desired. Must be at least 18 years of age. Work locations vary throughout King County, up to 40 hours per week available, including weekends and evenings; starting wage is $12.60 per hour.
