Nursery & horticultural / special installation team technician Capable and horticulturally savvy individual wanted for established 5-star Envirostar landscape nursery in Redmond with a destination Garden Center on a salmon stream. Classic Nursery is seeking articulate and proactive horticultural professionals to join our nursery team. Serious and skilled, experienced candidates only need apply. As a successful candidate, you will merchandize and coordinate plant materials, gardening supplies and garden center gift items at our 8 acre nursery on Bear Creek in Redmond. You will also water plants and assist customers with garden questions and product purchases. Successful candidate must be well presented, creative and articulate with a background in horticulture and nursery inventory control. POS familiarity and retail merchandizing experience are a plus. Knowledge of local horticultural suppliers and good customer service skills are required. Compensation varies with hourly rates ranging from $10-14 hr based upon experience. This position will start in late January this year and continue annually as a nursery position through mid-summer. It will then transition to a specialty landscape crew position, going to various job sites and performing light landscape planting tasks.
