Title: Customer Service Representative
Report To: Sales Manager
Salary: DOE

Job Summary:
Provide excellent customer service and support sales staff. Ensure constant sales growth and help seek new potential customers. Responsibilities may include professionally attending and assisting at trade shows and customer visits.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Increase sales with new and existing customers.
· Handle all aspects of customer inquiries and calls.
· Take and enter orders
· Participate in weekly group crop reviews (Rounds).
· Travel to trade shows and customers if requested.
· Update availability as needed and send via fax or e-mail and post to website.
· Answer incoming phones and assist receptionist as necessary.
· Create reports as requested.
· Pull and maintain trade show samples as needed.
· Conduct facility tours.
· Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Knowledge of Perennials and Annuals, plant uses and hardiness zones.
· Basic knowledge of product offerings.
· Ability to sell, work independently, manage and prioritize multiple projects, yet be a team player.
· Excellent people, verbal, math and writing skills.
· Strong Excel, Word and Access skills.
· ERP system experience preferred, but not required.
· Ability to identify customer needs and opportunities.
· Problem solving skills.

Credentials and Experience:
· Minimum two years horticultural industry sales or inside sales experience.

Special Requirements:
· Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested.
· Willingness to help other departments.
· Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
