JP LANDSCAPE SERVICES, INC. has an immediate full-time opening for a Horticulture/Landscape Designer. We are a local full-service landscape company located in Duvall, WA with full maintenance and construction crews and 2 acres of greenhouses and trees.
Scope of Work:
: To be responsible for meeting with customers and developing designs from pots to high-end landscapes. Designing may not be a full time responsibility but we need someone who; has the training to develop design concepts, the capability to work with customers through the design process, and produce final hand drawings for installation to include elevation renderings
: Experience in designing hardscapes (patios, terraces and retaining walls, etc) a plus
: Knowledge of lighting options and placement a plus
: Experience in designing water features per the lay of the land a plus
: To set plants on design projects and other projects where there is no plan design but a ‘concept’.
: Knowledge of Greenhouse Maintenance, pruning, fertilizing and maintenance of Christmas tree field a plus
: Other duties as assigned…. may include attending Master Builder’s breakfast meetings, website updating, picking up plants and managing small crews and special projects.
Benefits:
Rate of pay: $15.00-18.00 per hour DOE
Medical benefits paid in full by J.P. Landscape Services, Inc. for employee only. After 6 months
401K with employer matching 3% after 6 months
6 personal paid days
Cellular phone: company paying for 300 minutes.
