Position Overview
The PNA Groundskeeper position is a part time seasonal position responsible for caring for and cleaning the PNA Campus grounds.

Essential Responsibilities
• Grounds care - weed trimming, mowing, edging, watering, weeding and debris clean-up.
• Maintaining compost.
• Providing some limited support (set-up, emergent problem solving and light custodial) to the Phinney Farmer’s Market Fridays afternoons, June3 through October 7th.
• Special projects, such as supervising volunteers and on-call custodial would be an option, DOE interest and experience.
• Work 8 hours per week from the first week in June through the first week in October.
• This position reports to our head custodian.
• Hours may be divided into two shifts or, if desired, be a single 8 hour shift on Fridays.


Ideal Candidate
PNA is seeking an energetic individual whose experience and philosophy closely aligns with the PNA’s mission and values. Besides demonstrated competence in grounds care, other qualities that are sought are attention to detail, communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a community setting.

All potential PNA employees are required to pass a background screening.

Compensation
Seasonal/ Part-time $15/hour. PNA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
