A growing Seattle-based design/build firm is seeking an experienced gardener to join our landscape maintenance and renovation team. This position is for someone with an interest in environmentally responsible and organic gardening techniques.
Must have some applicable experience including, but not limited to: planting, pruning, soil amending, detailed weeding, deadheading and basic plant identification. Applicants should be hardworking, consistent, dependable, and able to work independently, rain or shine.
Applicants must be able to lift fifty pounds on a regular basis and drive company vehicles.
This is a fun, hardworking group of people who take their job seriously and believe strongly in quality work and a sincere work ethic. The owner and numerous employees are graduates from the Horticulture program at Edmonds Community College who have combined skills to create a strong team that is gaining attention as a leader in the industry. A motivated and hardworking individual in this position has the potential to move upwards, gain excellent experience in the field and grow with us. Area of work is typically within Seattle city limits. Standard work hours are 7:30 am – 4:00 pm.
Health benefits, vacation and sick leave begin 6 months after a 30-day probationary position. Starting pay $12, negotiable with experience.
