We are a well respected and successful landscape architecture and construction company specializing in residential work. We would like to find a great employee to be our lead gardener. He or she should have a degree in horticulture, master gardener certificate or lots of pertinent experience. This is an excellent position to perform ornamental garden maintenance, container garden design/installation and also be engaged in some landscape construction such as drainage, grading, concrete and stone work, rough carpentry, landscape lighting and irrigation. There is definitely room for growth within the company.
You must be able to lift 60 pounds, perform hard work for sustained periods, and have a good attitude! 3 years experience in green industries absolute MINIMIUM. Cantidate must possess a valid Washington State drivers license with good driving record (no DWI, DUI, or other significant infractions). A high school education or General Education Degree (GED) is mandatory, with proven ability to proficiently read and write the English language. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus! Full time desired, though part time (min. 24 hours), is possible.
