JOB DUTIES
Turf & bed fertilization, pre & post emergent herbicide applications and other specialized applications to commercial landscapes. Research sustainable approaches to pest management and plant health, providing proposals/plans for results-oriented solutions. Demonstrate horticultural skills/knowledge by assessing plant problems and following through with action. Assist enhancement operations, working on special projects. Assist maintenance operations, occasionally overseeing crews. Maintain file of MSDS and labels.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Two or four year degree in horticulture or related specialty, or equivalent job experience
WSDL and acceptable driving record
Commercial Pesticide License (Laws & Safety, Weed, Insect/Disease & Aquatics categories)
Certified Landscape Technician or Certified Professional Horticulturist (preferred)
Ability to apply horticultural principles in a landscape management arena
Minimum one year in a leadership role in the landscape industry
Experience in landscape management role, preferably in plant care
