*Job Description:
We are looking for a section grower with knowledge and experience in growing high quality container plants. Must have experience in the application of pesticides and other chemicals used in plant production. Strong knowledge in pest ID and nutritional requirements of plants required.
*Qualifications Required:
Supervising of crew up to 5, irrigation of containerized nursery crops (use of modern, automated equipment), constant monitoring of crops, Integrated Crop Management, scouting for any plant problems, some applications of pesticides, scheduling of all IPM, maintenance/repair of irrigation equipment
Qualifications Preferred:
Independent worker who can structure their own and others work schedule, fast learning, with an attention to detail, and self-motivated, ability to quickly adjust to new and changing environments, multitasking required, strong communication skills, mechanically inclined a plus, Spanish speaking beneficial
