Landscape production manager
Classic Nursery & Landscape Company seeks an experienced field and office manager that can work closely with Nursery and landscape architectural staff to coordinate field personnel and materials for ongoing projects. The successful candidate will monitor field production, coordinate project materials and manage labor staff. You will also coordinate information with clients by work orders, invoices and email, managing and assisting in the purchase and installation of plant, paving, irrigation and bulk soil materials for landscape projects. This salary position includes employer paid healthcare benefits, a generous vacation package and an employee nursery discount. An outgoing, horticulturally articulate personality with construction and irrigation experience is wanted! Join our creative team! Some of our lead foremen have been with Classic for over a decade. Find out why. We are looking for an experienced foreman to supervise a crew that installs award-winning landscapes throughout King County. You will plant shrubs, trees, groundcover and perennials, build walls and patios, create natural looking water features and layout irrigation systems. This position offers a good salary with commission and health benefits. A nursery plant discount, cell phone allowance and 40 to 160 hours of vacation per year are also offered. You will also water plants and assist customers with garden questions and product purchases. This position is for both full-time and part time staff and includes a generous vacation package, health benefits and the opportunity to join Classic Nursery & Landscape Company, a team of progressive green industry professionals interested in natural process horticulture. Subcontract Part-time Equipment & Fleet inspection/maintenance.
We are looking for a free-lance repair person to service our fleet of 8 one ton trucks, performing routine oil and tune-up work, cleanup etc, maybe 5 hours a week. In addition, this person would repair string trimmers, rototillers and chainsaws offsite, taking equipment for 2-3 days for repair and return. We are looking for a fee-based or barter arrangement (trade trees, shrubs and/or landscape services - see our website!) or a contractor/hourly person. This is not an employee position, but a barter or subcontract position.
