AtWork!’s Landscaping division is currently seeking individuals with landscaping maintenance experience to fill the position of Seasonal Working Crew Supervisor/Trainers. This is a seasonal position that involves performing maintenance work on storm water retention ponds in King County. It is unique in that you will have the opportunity to work out in the field, while helping people with disabilities learn to increase productivity, maintain outstanding quality, and enhance job skills that will give them valuable work experience which can be applied to their future careers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, dedication to producing quality work, and experience working with people that have disabilities!
Hours are daytime, Monday-Friday (some weekends may be required).

Qualifications:
-Experience using commercial mowers, edgers, and other outdoor maintenance equipment.
-High school diploma or GED required, post secondary education preferred.
-Valid Washington State Driver’s License, clean driving record, and must be at least 25 years of age to operate company vehicles.
-Ability to pass a background investigation.
-Must be bondable by insurance carriers.
-Current First Aid/CPR certification, or the ability to obtain within 30 days of the onset of employment.
-Experience working with people that have disabilities a plus!

There are currently three shoreline planning vacancies with the Department of Ecology's Shorelands and Environmental Assistance (SEA) Program. There are two project positions and one permanent position.
1. Regional Shoreline Planner - Northwest Regional Office, Bellevue, WA (Project employment expected to last through July 13, 2013 and may be extended).

Duties:

2. Shoreline Permitting - Review shoreline development proposals and make recommendations for Ecology action on conditional use and variance permits in accordance with state and local criteria.

4. Support and Outreach - provide technical and policy support and outreach to local governments, community groups, businesses, and the general public on matters related to local and state shoreline management.

Collaborate with SEA staff, local governments, tribes, and other state and federal agencies to ensure the program develops effective and pragmatic guidance and training.
4. Special Projects - Lead special projects related to SMA implementation, including developing new rules and leading agency rule-making processes; analyzing policy issues and drafting position papers; and working with key stakeholders on efforts to advance shoreline planning policy or guidance.

Grounds Maint. Lead - $DOE
The Grounds Maintenance Lead is a hands-on leadership position, responsible for all grounds maintenance tasks at all of the company’s properties. Responsibilities include planting and maintaining outdoor and indoor gardens and overseeing the care of the company’s grounds, including watering, grooming, weeding, fertilizing, pruning, pest management, mowing lawns and fields, clearing brush, and undertaking other regular maintenance and large grounds improvement projects.
