PT Grounds Assistant - $10.50/hr
Bellevue Community College seeks temporary part-time Grounds Assistant $10.50/hr. Working hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm. Potential Saturday work. Minimum 4 hours per shift not to exceed 16 hrs per week.
Duration of Employment: 4-8 weeks.
Responsibilities: 80-90% of job will be working in inclement weather; garbage pick-up, smoke shelter clean-up and special projects as assigned; primarily ivy removal and scotch broom eradication. Assist Grounds crew as necessary.
Primary Skills: Physical ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs, safe operation of non-motorized hand tools and EZ Go Carts.
Experience: Ability, willingness and experience working outside in inclement weather. Must be task oriented and work efficiently with little supervision.
